Abigail Berkebile

Abigail Berkebile has a diverse work experience spanning from 2005 to 2019. Abigail started their career as a Secretary at Aqua-Lawn Inc in 2005 and held the position until 2010. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as an Assistant to the Senior Course Developer at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. In 2011, they joined LeChase Construction as a Project Engineer Co-Op, where they processed RFI's and submittals, and assisted in preparing for meetings. Abigail then transitioned to GNCB Consulting Engineers in 2012, where they worked as a Design Engineer. In this role, they performed structural analysis and design, created structural drawings using 2D and 3D modeling software, and reviewed submittals and shop drawings. In 2013, they returned to LeChase Construction as a Project Engineer, and later became a Project Manager in 2017, overseeing projects until their employment ended in 2019. Additionally, in 2019, Abigail joined Consigli Construction Co., Inc. as a Project Manager, where they are currently working.

Abigail Berkebile obtained their High School Diploma from the Academy of Our Lady of Mercy - Lauralton Hall in the year 2008. Abigail then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, completing their studies in 2012. Later, they pursued a Master's Degree in Construction Engineering from the University of Southern California, where they studied from 2015 to 2017. Throughout their education, Abigail also acquired various certifications, including a Certificate of Management-Lean Construction (CM-Lean) from the Associated General Contractors of America in March 2017, an OSHA 30 certificate from OSHA in June 2014, an Intern Engineer certification from the NYS Department of Education in July 2012, and an Erosion & Sediment Control Certificate from the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation in August 2019.
