Valerie O'Brien

Valerie O'Brien is an experienced legal professional with a comprehensive background in contract law and litigation. Currently serving as a Contract Attorney at Consilio LLC since September 2021, Valerie has previously held similar roles at Special Counsel and Cadence Counsel, where responsibilities included reviewing discovery documents for relevancy and privilege as well as researching and drafting pleadings for class action litigation. Valerie's earlier experience includes contract attorney roles at Robert Half Legal and UnitedLex Corporation, involving the review of a variety of legal documents across multiple disciplines. Valerie began the legal career as an attorney at Clermont County, focusing on child support enforcement, and has also specialized in domestic law at Smart, Schofield, Lunceford & Shorter, along with providing representation in family law matters at Utah Legal Services. Academic credentials include a Juris Doctor from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law and an Honors BA in Psychology from the University of Utah. Additional studies are ongoing at Northern Kentucky University.
