Daniel Cashman

Daniel Cashman has a strong background in information security and network engineering. Daniel currently serves as the Director of Cyber Governance, Risk & Compliance at Consolidated Communications. Prior to this, they worked as the Information System Security Manager at Granite Telecommunications, where they established the Information Security Program for Federal contracts. Daniel also served as the Director of Information Security at FairPoint/Consolidated Communications, overseeing Information Security governance and operations. Before that, Daniel was the Manager of Systems Engineering at Rivulet Communications, where they built and led a team of systems engineers. Daniel began their career at Cisco Systems as a Senior Systems Engineer, specializing in designing and implementing voice, video, and data networks.

Daniel Cashman has a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from the American University School of International Service. Daniel also attended Boston College High School. Additionally, they hold various certifications in information systems and security, including Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) obtained in different years.
