Vivian Schott

Vivian Schott has over 20 years of experience in human resources. Vivian started their career as a Manager in Human Resources at Zapata Corporation, where they worked from 1981 to 1995. Vivian then joined Garlock Sealing Technologies as a Regional Human Resources Manager from 1996 to 2005. During this time, they were responsible for managing HR functions and implementing policies. In 2005, they joined Consolidated Communications as Vice President - Compensation & Benefits, and later became the Vice President - Human Resources. In their role, they oversaw all HR functions, including employee relations, recruiting, staffing, records, HRIS, as well as benefits and compensation. Vivian also served as the Chair of various committees related to 401(k), pension, and compensation & benefits. Vivian achieved significant cost cuts by consolidating benefit plans, providers, and improving administrative procedures.

Vivian Schott holds a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management from Boston University. Vivian obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Personnel & Industrial Relations Management from Wayne State University, which they attended from 1975 to 1979. Additionally, Vivian has certifications as a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) and a Compensation Management Specialist from IFEBP and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, respectively. Vivian also has a certification as a Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR).
