Basia (Barbara) Bhojraj has extensive experience in education and public service, currently serving as a Substitute Teacher and Support Staff at Palos Community Consolidated School District #118 since August 2018 and as a Substitute Teacher for Consolidated High School District 230 since April 2021. Prior experience includes an internship with the City of Chicago Department of Environment and a research assistant role at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where assistance was provided for the Chicago Transit Authority Planning Department. Additional internships included work with the Chicago Transit Authority in Strategic Planning and volunteering with AmeriCorps. Bhajraj holds a Master of Public Administration in Financial Management from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Policy, International Trade, and Development from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, complemented by a Java Certificate in Web Development from Moraine Valley Community College.
