Dan Workmeister, CIC, CRM, CAWC has over 18 years of experience in the insurance industry. Dan began their career as a Commercial Lines Underwriter at Travelers, where they completed a training program and eventually managed their own territory. Dan then moved on to work as a Commercial Lines Underwriter at The Hartford for a year before joining Consolidated Insurance + Risk Management in 2005. At Consolidated Insurance + Risk Management, Dan held various roles, including Risk Advisor and Vice President. In these positions, they focused on organizational business development, staff development, relationship building, and mentoring sales professionals. In February 2019, they were promoted to the role of President. Throughout their career, Dan has demonstrated a strong commitment to providing high-level technical insurance knowledge and building strong client relationships.
Dan Workmeister, CIC, CRM, CAWC, holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General, which they obtained from Gettysburg College from 1998 to 2002. Prior to that, they graduated from Loyola High School in 1998. In addition to their educational background, Dan has also achieved several certifications, including CIC - Certified Insurance Counselor in 2013, Licensed Insurance Adviser in 2014, CAWC - Certified Authority on Workers Compensation in 2015, and CRM - Certified Risk Manager in 2017.

Consolidated Insurance + Risk Management Providing expertise, guidance and solutions. Our story began in Catonsville, MD in 1938, as the I.P. Trail Insurance Agency at the end of the #9 streetcar line from downtown Baltimore. From the beginning, we have been focused on serving our customers and giving back to the community. In 1960, the agency became known as The Doetzer-Trail Insurance Agency. The principals of the company took leadership roles in building the community through Jaycees, Rotary, Catonsville Business Association and building the YMCA facility on Rolling Road. Our mission and community involvement has continued through the decades. In 1969, The Doetzer-Trail Insurance Agency and the Richard Williams Insurance Agency merged to form Consolidated Insurance Center, Inc. As the economy expanded and the region grew, the principals of Consolidated recognized that we could better serve our clients by growing our capabilities. As the insurance needs of our clients grew, so did our agency services by being an industry leader who provided a customer experience that focused on education, innovation, and execution. Today, as in the previous chapters of Consolidated's history, our agency has a passion for understanding and capturing client stories. These stories are what inspire us to do what we do every day. It is what drives us to provide comprehensive and competitive insurance products and offer innovative and practical risk management advice to our customers.
