Chris Smith

Vice President Operations at Consolidated Minerals, Inc.

Chris Smith has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Chris started their career in the military, serving as a Battalion Operations Officer at Fort Riley Warrior Transition Battalion, where they supervised day-to-day operations for over 200 wounded veterans. Chris then moved on to serve as a Battery Executive Officer at Headquarters and Headquarters Battery 1st Battalion, 7th Field Artillery Regiment, responsible for base defense and the security of Eastern Baghdad, Iraq.

After leaving the military, Chris transitioned to the manufacturing industry, working at Cardinal Glass Industries as an Insulating Glass Department Manager and later as a Plant Superintendent Cardinal Glass Ocala, where they managed production operations and ensured the highest quality insulating glass products. Chris also worked at Vitrum Glass Group as a Director of Manufacturing, overseeing manufacturing operations.

Chris's most recent position was as the Vice President of Operations at Consolidated Minerals Incorporated, where they were responsible for all operational aspects of a vertically integrated manufacturer of pool plasters. Chris managed multiple sites and divisions, overseeing sand and aggregate processing, manufacturing, transportation, quality, safety, capital expenditures, project management, and budgeting.

Throughout their career, Chris has demonstrated strong leadership skills, including directing teams and managing large-scale projects.

Chris Smith attended St. Norbert College from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, General.
