Glen Moreno

Non-Executive Director at Consolidated Pastoral Company

Glen Moreno is a Director of Fidelity International Ltd, one of the world’s leading investment companies, and a mentor for Chairman Mentors International. ​

Glen was Chairman of Pearson plc, a global publishing and educational business, and Chairman of Virgin Money plc. He also served as Acting Chairman of UK Financial Investments, the organisation created to manage the UK government’s investment in troubled banks. Glen has previously held positions as Deputy Chairman of Lloyds Banking Group plc, Deputy Chairman of the Financial Reporting Council, Director of Grupo Prisa SA, Senior Advisor to HSBC Holdings plc., Independent Director of Man Group plc and Trustee of the Prince of Liechtenstein Foundation and LGT.

From 1987 to 1991 Glen was Chief Executive of Fidelity International Limited, where he still serves as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee. He led the company’s international expansion, including the launch of the hallmark global product range, Fidelity Funds.

Earlier, Glen spent over 18 years with Citigroup, holding senior positions in Europe, Australia and Asia. He was a member of Citigroup's Policy Committee.

Other Notable Interests: Glen Moreno is an Honorary Governor of the Ditchley Foundation, founded in 1958 to advance Anglo-American links, and which has since broadened to involve nations from all over the world. As an American and British national, he divides his time between the US and the UK.

Glen lived in Australia for five years.

He also owned and ran a small Angus cattle operation in the Virginia Piedm
