Ahmed Serry

Ahmed Serry, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), has a diverse work experience in the field. Ahmed started their career as a Junior External Auditor at BDO in 2002 and later worked as a Semi Senior External Auditor at Deloitte from 2003 to 2005, where they performed audit procedures and assessed internal control environments. Ahmed then joined KPMG as a Senior External Auditor from 2005 to 2006. Ahmed returned to Deloitte in 2006, where they served as an Experienced Senior External Auditor and later as a Supervisor External Auditor until 2011. From 2011 to 2013, Ahmed held the role of Acting Audit Manager at Deloitte before becoming an Audit Manager in 2013.

In 2013, Ahmed transitioned to the role of Finance Director - ECPC Consolis Egypt at Consolis, a multinational manufacturing company specializing in concrete products. Ahmed was responsible for managing the finance function at ECPC Consolis Egypt and served as the secretary of the Board of Directors. Ahmed reported directly to the Company Managing Director in Egypt and the Group CFO in Paris. Ahmed was also involved in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as statutory financial statements in accordance with EAS and IFRS for reporting to the Group.

Most recently, Ahmed assumed the position of North Africa Finance Director at Consolis in March 2021.

Ahmed Serry, CPA obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting from Cairo University, where they attended from 1997 to 2001. In addition to their degree, Ahmed also holds the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the AICPA. Ahmed is also certified as a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), although their CGMA certification is currently inactive.
