Stevan Madrigal

Project Administrative Assistant at CONSOR Engineers

Stevan Madrigal has a strong background in quality assurance and materials testing, with over 30 years of experience. Stevan started their career in 1986 as a Quality Assurance Supervisor at Staker & Parson Companies, where they managed quality assurance for large materials producer and highway contractor projects. Stevan also established technician certification and laboratory accreditation during their time there. From 1999 to 2009, they worked at amec earth & environmental as a Project Coordinator, Laboratory Manager, and Engineer. Stevan was responsible for managing the laboratory and coordinating projects for a geotechnical engineering and materials testing firm. In 2010, they joined Raba-Kistner as a Quality Assurance Laboratory Supervisor. From 2013 to 2013, they worked as a Certified CCO Trainer at Cognosante, providing training on the Affordable Care Act to customer service representatives. Stevan then worked at Civil Science from 2014 to 2016, first as a Laboratory Manager and later as the Materials Testing Services Manager. During this time, they established a Materials Testing Laboratory that attained AASHTO accreditation. From 2016 to 2023, they worked as an Inspector at Project Engineering Consultants. Currently, they are working at CONSOR Engineers as a Project Administrative Assistant.

Stevan Madrigal's education history includes attending the University of Utah from 1974 to 1980. During their time there, they studied physical geography with a specialty in arid lands geomorphology, GIS, and glacial/peri-glacial geomorphology. Before attending the University of Utah, Stevan attended Judge Memorial from 1969 to 1973 and St. Ann's Catholic School from 1960 to 1969. In addition to their formal education, Stevan has obtained various certifications, including Concrete Field Tester from the American Concrete Institute in 2019, SRDT - Sampling, Reduction and Density Testing from the Utah Department of Transportation in 2017, and ADA Pedestrian Ramp Training from the Utah Department of Transportation in 2016. Stevan also has certifications from the Utah Department of Transportation as an Inspector and has received certifications in concrete strength testing, asphalt pavement inspection, aggregate design, asphalt mix control, asphalt mix testing, and soils field testing from various institutions.
