Jill R. Brown PhD

Jill R. Brown PhD has a long and varied work experience in the educational technology field. In 2016, they began their role as Director of Professional Learning for the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN). Jill R. also became a Past-President of NMSTE; CoSN Chapter for New Mexico; CoSN Volunteer Hall of Fame Inductee. In 2005, they began their role with ISTE as NMSTE Past-President; Co-Founder; President; Communications Chair; Conference Committee. Jill R. was also an IISN Advisor Emerita; Co-Founder; Exec. Committee; Past Chair; ISEN's Outstanding Educator Awardee. In 2018, they began their role as an ATLIS Publications Advisory Board, Think Tank & Pillar Awardee. In 2013, they began their role as Site Director (GOA) for Global Online Academy. In 2010, they began their role as TEDxYouthDay Site/School Coordinator; Licensee for TED Conferences. In 1999, they began their role as Educational Technologist for Albuquerque Academy. In 2007, they began their role as Advisory Board Member; Stewardship; Advocacy Recruitment Leader; Family Teams Committee Chair (JDRF) for JDRF. In 2008, they began their role as Innovation Task Force (NAIS) for National Association for Independent Schools (NAIS). In 2006, they began their role as Board Member; Conference Committee; Past Secretary (NMANS) for New Mexico Association of Nonpublic Schools. In 2013, they began their role as Educational Expert; Project Manager; Innovation Award Recipient for Innovate+Educate.

Jill R. Brown PhD received their PhD in Educational Technology; Multicultural Childhood and Teacher Education from The University of New Mexico in 1999. Jill R. also holds a MA in Curriculum and Instruction from New Mexico State University, which they obtained in 1989. Her BA in Elementary Education; Mathematics was also from New Mexico State University and they obtained it in 1988.
