Jordan Read

Jordan Read currently serves as Executive Director of the Consortium of Universities for the Advancement of Hydrologic Science, Inc. (CUAHSI) since January 2023. Prior to this role, Jordan held the position of Chief of the Data Science Branch at the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) from July 2012 to December 2022, where the focus was on advancing data-intensive modeling techniques within the USGS Water Mission Area. Jordan was instrumental in creating the WMA data science team, aimed at improving the understanding of water quantity and quality changes across the nation. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Environmental Fluid Mechanics obtained from the University of Wisconsin-Madison between 2007 and 2012.
