Lonette Merriman

Lonette Merriman is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in alcohol beverage law. Currently serving as Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Constellation Brands since July 2016, Lonette Merriman oversees regulatory and distribution issues relating to beer, wine, and spirits, while collaborating with various business units to formulate legal strategies. Prior to this role, Lonette Merriman worked at McDermott Will & Emery, first as an Alcohol Regulatory Specialist, addressing complex regulatory challenges for alcohol companies, and previously as a Staff Attorney. Additional experience includes positions as an E-Discovery Attorney at the Law Office of Lonette Merriman, Associate at Howrey LLP, and Developer at Fannie Mae. Lonette Merriman holds an Executive MBA from the University of Rochester, a Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law, a B.S. in Computer and Information Science from the University of Maryland Global Campus, and a B.A. in English from the University of Virginia.
