John Austin

John Austin is an experienced operations and training professional with a diverse background spanning multiple industries. Currently serving as a Senior Operations Training Instructor at Constellation since February 2024, John previously held the position of Area Manager - Rolling at Arconic and served as Plant Manager at Union Tank Car Company. Earlier roles included Factory Manager at The HON Company, Value Stream Manager at Carleton Life Support Systems, and Operations Manager at EMCO Flow Systems, a division of Spirax Sarco. John's career began in the US Navy as a Nuclear Reactor Operator, where responsibilities included managing nuclear power plants. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from Walden University, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and an Associate degree in Nuclear Engineering Technology from the University of Phoenix, as well as Reactor Operator License from the US Navy Nuclear Power School.
