Zigmund Karpa

Zigmund (Ziggy) Karpa is an experienced strategic environmental and sustainability leader currently serving as the Director of Environmental Programs and Regulatory Affairs at Constellation since March 2004. With a robust background in building multi-stakeholder value, Zigmund collaborates with leadership teams to convert broad strategies into actionable objectives. Prior to this role, Zigmund held positions such as Vice President of U.S. Operations at Jacques Whitford Environmental Engineering and Vice President of Regulatory Compliance at McLaren/Hart Environmental Engineering. Zigmund's early career included serving as Section Chief at the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. Academic credentials include a Master of Natural Resources in Global Sustainability from Vermont Law and Graduate School and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from Slippery Rock University, with additional education from Virginia Tech and Maryville University of Saint Louis.
