Chad Ponticas

Chad Ponticas has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Chad started their career as a Shift Lead at Blockbuster from October 2006 to December 2010. In 2011, they worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer at ThoughtCloud for seven years. In 2015, Chad joined PNDLM as a Designer, where they designed content for iOS apps and developed interactive prototypes. Chad then worked at Nike from February 2016 to November 2018 in two roles: FT Apparel Athlete and NRC Pacer. As an FT Apparel Athlete, Chad served consumers by understanding their needs, encouraging brand engagement, and providing support for Nike Digital applications and services. In their role as an NRC Pacer, they offered running knowledge, guided local runs, and assisted in organizing NRC events. From November 2018 to April 2022, Chad worked as an Interaction Designer at Steelcase. Currently, they are employed as a Product Designer at Constellation Network since April 2022.

Chad Ponticas attended the Pacific Northwest College of Art from 2008 to 2010, where they studied Design and Visual Communications. Chad then transferred to The Art Institutes in 2007 and completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Design and Visual Communications in 2009. In the same institution, they pursued additional studies in Communication Design starting in 2008.

In terms of certifications, Chad Ponticas obtained several from LinkedIn. In May 2018, they received the AR for Mobile Developers certification. In April 2018, they completed the UX Foundations: Content Strategy certification. Lastly, in March 2018, they earned the Principle for UX Design certification.
