Carla Barbatti

Carla Barbatti is an experienced professional in the metallurgy and materials science fields, currently serving as the R&D Centre Manager for Constellium since April 2013, focusing on Automotive Structures and Industry Extrusions. Previously, Carla held positions such as Senior Process Metallurgist and R&D Engineer - Senior Metallurgist at Constellium and Tata Steel Europe, respectively. Carla's academic credentials include an MBA in Technology Management and a Postgraduate Certificate in Management from The Open University, as well as a BSc, MSc, and PhD in Physics from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and the Brazilian Centre for Physics Research. Additionally, Carla has research experience at the Max Planck Institute for Iron Research and Technische Universität Wien.
