Shawn Chavis is an experienced professional in the aluminum industry, currently serving as Scrap Manager at Constellium since April 2021, where responsibilities include managing daily inbound aluminum volumes exceeding 2 million lbs and developing the aluminum trial process for post-consumer alloys. Previously, Shawn held various roles at JW Aluminum, including Plant Technical Manager, focusing on quality management and R&D for a large facility while also overseeing raw materials management and engineering teams during a significant expansion project. Additional experience includes a Plant Manager role at ORG Chem Group, where strategic business and maintenance decisions were emphasized, along with a Production Manager position at Valspar that enhanced production efficiency and quality. Shawn's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
