Mark Newson

Mark Newson is an experienced professional in the engineering and project management sectors, currently serving as the Migration and Installation Manager at CAF since August 2020. Prior to this role, Mark held various positions at Thales from January 1999 to July 2020, including Interface Manager for the Doha Metro Phase 1 Project and involvement in multiple key initiatives such as the National Health System's RIS and the Portuguese Railway's REFER maintenance contracts. Mark began the career as Operations Manager at Halliburton from June 1997 to December 1998. Mark possesses a BEng. in Software Engineering (Honours) from Aberystwyth University, completed in 1997, and attended Glenwood High School in Durban, South Africa from 1982 to 1986.
