Ruben Alvarez Martinez

Ruben Alvarez Martinez has extensive experience in the railway and electronics industries, currently serving as a Refurbishment Project Lead Engineer at CAF (Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles) since November 2008. In this role, responsibilities include managing refurbishments, preparing technical proposals, defining system technical requirements, analyzing electrical schematics, and overseeing manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and testing processes. Prior to this, Ruben worked as an R&D engineer at IKUSI from April 2006 to November 2008, focusing on Railway Passenger Information Systems and embedded firmware design, and at Grupo Meana, S.A. from November 2006 to March 2008, where work involved hardware, software, and firmware design for Control Access solutions. Ruben holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Electronics from Universidad de Oviedo, earned between 2000 and 2004.
