Shahana Thankachan

Shahana Thankachan currently serves as a Consultant at the Ministry of External Affairs in India since April 2020. Simultaneously, Shahana holds the Japan Foundation Doctoral Fellowship in Kobe, Japan, starting September 2018, and works as a Research Associate at the National Maritime Foundation since April 2017. In addition, Shahana is a Research Scholar pursuing a PhD at Jawaharlal Nehru University, where studies have been ongoing since July 2011. Shahana completed a Bachelor's degree in History at St. Stephen's College, Delhi, from 2007 to 2010, followed by further education at Jawaharlal Nehru Vishvavidyalaya from 2011 to 2015.
