Additionally, Marcio assists in managing a $5 million student-run equity portfolio at Virginia Tech SEED and is participating in the Deloitte Leadership, Allyship, and Mentorship Program. Previously, Marcio founded Delta Fitness, a personal training initiative at Virginia Tech.

The mission of The Consulting Group at Virginia Tech is to be the primary link between Virginia Tech students interested in consulting, and professional consulting firms. Our vision is to expose our members to consulting concepts and techniques, and to connect them with opportunities to learn, discover and apply these techniques to inform and prepare them for careers in the consulting industry. The Group is filled with inspiring and passionate members who share the same goal: to gain more knowledge of the consulting industry through multiple forms of learning. Our members appreciate the work that goes into business consulting, and through Consulting Firm Workshops, are able to gain a good understanding of the work and skills necessary in the industry. Members can benefit through the interaction with our driven club members, through our real-life projects that better the community, and in case study practices. The group provides a great chance to network with industry professionals, and to prepare oneself for a career in consulting.
