Caroline Dafflon-Urech

Caroline Dafflon-Urech is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as a CMC QbD scientist at CONSULTYS since December 2024, Caroline is contracted by CSL Behring to enhance the Quality by Design approach for plasma drug products. Previously, as a Quality Assurance Manager at InnoMedica Holding AG from May 2019 to November 2024, responsibilities included establishing a GMP-compliant quality system and managing the Quality Assurance team. Caroline also held roles in quality evaluation and process innovation in the pharmaceutical field. Earlier experience includes a postdoctoral research position at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, scientific support at Debiopharm, and a Ph.D. in Oncology from École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne. Educational credentials include an MSc from the University of Oxford.
