William Chan

William Chan is an accomplished public affairs professional with extensive experience in various communication roles. Currently serving as a Public Affairs Officer at the Consumer Council since December 2024, William's previous positions include Manager of External Affairs and Manager of Communications and Public Affairs at the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority from June 2019 to December 2024. Earlier experience encompasses senior executive roles in public affairs at the Hong Kong Tourism Board and a communication officer role at the Hong Kong Committee for UNICEF. Additionally, William worked as a political reporter at 明報 from September 2011 to July 2015. William holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Communications from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, attained between 2007 and 2011.
