Erin Witte

Erin Witte is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Director of Consumer Protection at the Consumer Federation of America since March 2022. In this role, Witte advocates for consumer protections in legislative and regulatory contexts, communicates policy positions to the media and the public, organizes stakeholder meetings on consumer protection issues, and develops educational resources for consumers. Previously, Witte worked as an Assistant Attorney General in the Predatory Lending Unit from December 2016 to February 2022, and as an Associate Attorney at Surovell Isaacs Petersen & Levy PLC from August 2010 to December 2016. Witte holds a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Justice Studies from Rowan University and a Juris Doctor from George Mason University - Antonin Scalia Law School.
