Mark Baron

VP, Member Experience & Product Strategy at Consumers Credit Union

Mark Baron began their professional career as a Finance Lecturer/Seminar Leader at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague in September 2012, a role they held until May 2015. Mark then moved on to become a Sourcing Specialist at Direct Supply, starting in August 2015 and concluding their tenure in September 2016.

In 2016, Mark joined Consumers Credit Union, Illinois, where they worked in various roles, including Payments Analyst from September 2016 to March 2017, Product Innovation Manager from March 2017 to January 2019, Director of Member Experience from January 2019 to November 2019, and Director of Digital Platform and Member Experience from November 2019 to February 2020.

Subsequently, Mark transitioned to Packaging HERO in February 2020, initially serving as the Director of Continuous Improvement until February 2021. Mark then assumed the position of General Manager from February 2021 to June 2021.

Currently, Mark is employed at Consumers Credit Union as the Director of Member Experience (June 2021-December 2022) and has also taken on the role of VP of Member Experience & Product Strategy starting in December 2022.

Mark Baron's education history begins in 2008 when they enrolled at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Mark pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Management, General, graduating in 2012. In 2012, they also started their Master's degree in Economics at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, which they completed in 2014.

During the same period, from 2013 to 2014, Mark Baron also pursued a Master's degree in Management at Grenoble Ecole de Management.

In terms of additional certifications, Mark Baron obtained the Certified Senior Executive certification from CUES in May 2018. In November 2019, they acquired the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from Scrum Alliance. In January 2023, they obtained the Product Strategy certification from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. Additionally, Mark Baron became a CXPA Professional Member through the Customer Experience Professionals Association (CXPA), although the exact month of obtaining this membership is unknown.
