Mike Stutman, CPA

Mike Stutman, CPA has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Mike is currently working at GOBankingRates as a Senior Accounting Manager starting from January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at WeWork in various positions, including Manager, Process Automation from February 2021 to October 2022, Accounting Manager, Fixed Assets from November 2016 to February 2021, and Senior Accountant, Cash Reconciliation from June 2015 to October 2016. Before that, they worked at Sentinel Real Estate as a Senior Accountant from June 2014 to May 2015 and as a Treasury Analyst from March 2011 to May 2014. Mike also briefly served as Manager, Business Development at RSG Media Systems from August 2008 to November 2008. Prior to that, they worked at Custom Computer Specialists as an Account Support Representative from July 2006 to July 2008. Lastly, they founded and served as the President of Delta Pi Lambda, a Graduate Business Fraternity from November 2004 to May 2006.

Mike Stutman, CPA pursued their education in a progressive manner to develop their expertise in accounting and related fields. In 1999, they began their academic journey at Binghamton University, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a focus on Applied Behavior Analysis Track in 2003. Building on their undergraduate education, they enrolled in the Binghamton University School of Management from 2004 to 2006, earning an MBA degree.

To further enhance their accounting knowledge and become eligible for CPA licensure, Mike attended Baruch College in 2009 and 2010. Mike completed coursework in Accountancy, aligning with their goal of becoming a CPA.

In addition to their educational accomplishments, Mike Stutman has obtained various certifications to augment their professional skills. In July 2014, they earned their CPA certification from the State of New Jersey. Furthermore, in December 2021, they successfully obtained the Alteryx Designer Core Certification, further expanding their expertise in data analytics and manipulation.
