Nish Chasmawala is the Co-Founder & CEO at Consure Medical. Nish has over fifteen years of experience in the medical device industry, with a focus on product development and commercialization.
Nish started their career as a Process Development Engineer at Cordis, Johnson & Johnson, where they worked on the development of new medical devices. Nish then co-founded Vcube, Inc., a medical device startup that developed a new method for the treatment of vertebrae compression fracture.
After Vcube, Nish took a Sabbatical & opportunity searching, during which they evaluated multiple unmet clinical needs and business models for a medical device startup. Nish then joined Kyphon Inc (acqd: Medtronic) as a Research & Development Lead, where they led the development of two products from concept through commercialization.
In 2008, Nish was awarded an Innovation Fellowship from Stanford - India Biodesign. Nish then returned to their role as CEO & MD of Consure Medicals, where they have continued to grow the company and develop new products.
Nish Chasmawala earned a BS in Plastics Engineering (Medical) from University of Massachusetts Lowell and went on to participate in the Stanford-India Biodesign Fellowship at Stanford University. Prior to that, they attended Saint Mary's School in Mt. Abu, Rajasthan.
