Prashant Giri

Prashant Giri has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Prashant started their career as a Sourcing Associate at Fashionandyou.com, an e-commerce company, where they were involved in supply chain management, process development, business development, and operation execution. Prashant then joined Consus Consulting Group as a Business Analyst - Strategic Sourcing, supporting companies in procurement and spend management using the Ariba commerce cloud platform. Prashant later became an Associate Consultant, where they initiated and improved vendor discovery, e-bidding, and negotiation processes. Prashant also helped route spend and achieve overall savings for a speciality chemical manufacturing company. Prashant then joined Industrybuying.com as a Category Head, responsible for driving strategic and tactical methods for growth and expansion across B2B categories. After that, they joined GoZoomo.com as a City Manager. Prashant also worked at Consus Global, where they held multiple roles, including Senior Consultant Strategy Operations and Engagement Director. In these roles, they managed customers across South East Asia and worked on turnkey sourcing projects, strategic sourcing, and process re-engineering, among other responsibilities. Throughout their career, Prashant demonstrated expertise in driving e-sourcing and e-procurement activities, managing teams, and achieving cost savings for their clients.

Prashant Giri has a strong education background in both engineering and science. Prashant obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from G B Pant Engg College Pauri between 2008 and 2012. Before that, they completed their Class 12 education in Science from Kendriya Vidyalaya from 2005 to 2007. Prashant'shigh school education was also focused on Science, which they completed at The Army Public School from 2002 to 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Prashant Giri has also earned several certifications. Prashant completed the "Supply Chain For Management Consultants & Business Analysts" program at Udemy in May 2020. In October 2019, they obtained certifications in "Lean Six Sigma Application in Information Technology" and "Minitab17 Training Program" from Simplilearn. In July 2019, they completed the "Lean Six Sigma in Healthcare" program, and in January 2019, they achieved the "Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification," both from Simplilearn. Prashant Giri also holds a certification in "Supply Chain Management: A Learning Perspective" from Coursera, which they obtained in December 2014. In October 2014, they became an "AMCAT Certified Data Processing Specialist" through Aspiring Minds. Lastly, in October 2018, they completed the "Lean Management" program as an alumni of Simplilearn.
