Maveli Salce

Maveli Salce is a bilingual crisis counselor at CONTACT Care Line, Inc. since September 2023, with previous experience as a social worker at Rise Above The Disorder from January 2021 to May 2022 and as a care manager at Catholic Guardian Services from April 2018 to October 2020. Maveli also served as a middle school counseling intern at Isaac Newton School-Science from March 2019 to June 2020 and worked as an outreach coordinator at WHEDco from May 2016 to April 2018, assisting in coordination of trainings and addressing community inquiries. Prior experience includes serving as an auxiliary police officer with the NYPD from June 2013 to August 2015, contributing to community safety and order. Maveli holds a Master of Arts in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development (2017-2020) and two Bachelor’s Degrees in Criminology and Criminal Justice from John Jay College (2012-2016).
