Blair Croall

Blair Croall currently serves as the Engineering Manager for Hydro at Contact Energy Ltd, a position held since August 2023. Prior to this role, Blair accumulated extensive experience at Genesis, where responsibilities included Outage & Projects Manager and Planning & Scheduling Manager from September 2017 to August 2023, as well as roles such as Outage Coordinator and Plant Coordinator from February 2000 to July 2017. Throughout this tenure, Blair focused on optimizing the operation of thermal plants by coordinating the interactions between Operations, Maintenance, and support services teams to enhance plant utilization, ensure reliability, and meet business objectives. Blair holds a New Zealand Certificate in Engineering (Electrical) from Wintec - Waikato Institute of Technology, achieved between 1999 and 2000, and attended St Paul's Collegiate from 1997 to 1998.
