Chen Lu

Chen LU is an experienced professional currently serving as the ESS UK Country Manager at Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited, the world's largest battery manufacturer for electric vehicles and energy storage systems, since June 2023. Previously, Chen held the position of Project Manager at SMT GB, the exclusive Volvo dealer for Great Britain, from September 2022 to May 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Key Account Manager at SMT Africa from January 2018 to July 2021, where sales turnover was more than doubled in a challenging market, and Business Development Manager at Rongxin Power Engineering in 2017. Additionally, Chen worked as Regional Customer Relations Manager at JA Delmas, the exclusive Caterpillar dealer for 11 French-speaking West African countries, from April 2014 to January 2017. Chen's educational background includes an MBA from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Wuhan University, along with a Master Grande Ecole from NEOMA Business School and participation in the Erasmus Exchange Program at Corvinus University of Budapest.
