Maria Bordley

HR Director, Employment Marketing & Strategy at Contemporary Services Corporation

Maria Bordley, began her career with CSC in 2012, working for Contemporary International during the 2014 Sochi Olympic Games project. She helped to develop Guest Services training for the Event Services functional area at the 2014 Sochi Olympics. Maria also worked with the Project Integration and Marketing team during Toronto 2015 Pan-American Games.

From 2015 until January 2018, Maria had been assigned to the CSC West Point Branch as the Operations Manager, where she oversaw daily operations, recruiting, hiring, and training as well as managed Army Black Knights athletic events and the West Point Graduation. She was also appointed as a part of the Corporate HR Team, specializing in recruiting and employment marketing. Maria has assisted in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training staff, for numerous CSC Branches and Events, including, the US Open, PGA Championships, Ryder Cup, Army West Point Athletics.

During the Superbowl LI and the Kentucky Derby 145, Maria oversaw premium hospitality areas and Red Carpet as an Event Manager and Area Director.

In January 2018, Maria was appointed as CSC HR Director of Employment Marketing and Strategy. In this capacity, she supports CSC Branch operations in the development of Marketing Strategies for attracting new applicants, directs and manages the training of branch affiliates with best-practice techniques of recruiting and hiring as well as oversees the implementation and maintenance of the employee engagement plan for CSC. She coordinates these efforts with CSC’s legal department, marketing department, IT department, operations, and other departments as needed.

In 2010, Maria graduated at the top of her class from the Mission TX Police Academy, where she also received the top Physical Fitness Award.

Maria attended the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) Master’s program in Public Health. Her first Master’s degree was in Management, Marketing and Chemistry obtained from Moscow University of Chemical Technology.
