Rick Brown

Regional Manager Ohio, Kentucky & West Virginia at Contemporary Services Corporation

Presently serving as Branch Manager of the Cleveland office and the Regional Manager. Rick started with CSC Columbus in February of 2001 while completing his studies in Biology at The Ohio State University. In the summer of 2001, Rick traveled to Denver, CO to assist in the opening of the new Denver Bronco’s Stadium; Invesco Field at Mile High, where he worked as a Supervisor.

In 2002, Rick spent two months at our Milwaukee, WI office where he was the Event Manager for the MLB All-Star Fan Fest and the All-Star Gala. From Milwaukee, he went directly to Indianapolis, IN to help CSC open operations at the Lucas Oil Stadium, formerly the RCA Dome. He was also the Event Manager for the World Basketball Championships and various other events.

In the summer of 2003, Rick assisted in the opening of Lincoln Financial Field, home of the Philadelphia Eagles. Rick assisted in creating a deployment plan and hiring nearly 600 new event staff while helping oversee all of the events held at the new stadium. In 2004, Rick traveled to Jacksonville, FL for Super Bowl XXXIX where he spent two months preparing and training the staff to fill the many roles of this world-recognized event. In March of 2004, Rick went to Houston, TX to assist with The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, where he oversaw the operation of three different venues. In 2004, Rick was promoted to the Assistant Manager of the Columbus office.

In 2005, Rick was tasked with the opening of Stockton Arena for CSC. As a new facility and branch, Rick assisted in developing all aspects of the Security Department Operations, which included the standup piece of the 24-Hour Office, as well as operations plans for various events. For six consecutive years, Rick has traveled to Pasadena, CA to assist with the Rose Bowl Game and the BCS National Championship game (in 2010 & 2014). While there, he was assigned responsibilities for coordinating all of the daytime pre-coverage leading up to the game(s). On game day, Rick helped oversee the entire operation and was directly responsible for team arrivals and the postgame trophy presentation.

In April of 2009, Rick relocated to Minneapolis, MN where he was promoted to Branch Manager of CSC’s new Minneapolis office. Rick assisted in the opening of the new TCF Bank Stadium and assisted the University of Minnesota with their other sporting events at a variety of their other venues, along with the implementation of the 24-Hour program at the stadium. Highlight events include the U2 360 World Tour and the relocated Vikings vs. Bears MNF game, because of a snow overload and roof collapse at the Metrodome. The game was put on in six days' notice, and TCF stadium had to be uncovered from under four feet of snow.

In June of 2013, Rick had the opportunity to relocate back to his home state of Ohio to become the Branch Manager of our new office and partnership with the Cleveland Browns Football Club / FirstEnergy Stadium and our new partnership with the Johnson Controls Hall of Fame Village and Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium. Rick oversees all aspects of the daily branch operation along with all game day functions and staffing. He also plays a large part in the recruiting, hiring, and training of all 700+ game day event staff.

In 2017, Rick was promoted to Regional Manager.
