Jeff Henkel

Jeff Henkel has extensive experience in the IT industry. Jeff began their career at Swagelok as a Programmer Analyst, where they developed software for engineering and customer service departments. Jeff then joined Applied Industrial Technologies, where they held various roles such as IT Coordinator, IT Manager/Project Manager, ERP Technical Architect, and eventually became the IT Director, responsible for managing a team of 25+ members.

After leaving Applied Industrial Technologies, Jeff Henkel joined Contender Solutions. Jeff started as a ServiceNow Consultant, assisting clients in designing ITIL and business processes. Jeff then progressed to the role of Senior ServiceNow Solution Architect, providing technical mentoring and overseeing project teams. Subsequently, they took on the position of ITOM Delivery Lead and later ITOM Practice Lead, where they provided thought leadership, established leading practices, and mentored team members in the delivery of ServiceNow ITOM projects.

Most recently, Jeff Henkel has been working at Contender Solutions as the Director, ITX Delivery, where they oversee ITX project delivery. Jeff now holds the position of Vice President Service Delivery, responsible for delivering best-in-class consulting services to customers worldwide. Throughout their career, Jeff Henkel has demonstrated expertise in service delivery, project management, architecture design, and technical mentoring.

Jeff Henkel completed an Associate's Degree in Computer Science from Lakeland Community College from 1985 to 1987. Later, in 2013, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from WGU Texas. Jeff also holds several certifications, including Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist in various areas such as Cloud Management, Discovery, Event Management, Human Resources, Service Mapping, Vulnerability Response, and a Certified System Administrator from ServiceNow in Madrid in April 2019. Additionally, they hold certifications as Network+, Security+, A+ from CompTIA in 2014, and an ITIL Foundation certification. Jeff is also pursuing a PMP certification from PMI.
