Philip Thornton

Philip Thornton has a wealth of experience in software engineering and applications engineering management. Philip began their career in 2003 as an Applications Engineer Manager at Redwood Technologies Ltd, where they were responsible for product management and development, as well as overseeing and mentoring a small team of engineers. Philip also had responsibilities for change management and procedure within the team. Philip currently holds the position of Director of Software Engineering at Content Guru, starting in May 2022.

Philip Thornton completed their A Levels at Garforth Community College from 1997 to 1999. During this time, they studied Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and General Studies. From 2000 to 2003, Philip attended the University of York, where they obtained a BSc degree in Mathematics and Physics.
