Dominique Decotter has extensive experience in user experience research and design. They are currently working as the Director of User Experience Research at Contentsquare, a position they have held since March 2022. Prior to this, they were the Lead UX Researcher at Contentsquare from October 2020 to March 2022.
Before joining Contentsquare, Dominique worked at dailymotion as the Lead UX Researcher from January 2017 to October 2020. In this role, they played a key role in defining the vision of Design at dailymotion and implementing it with the VP of Design, Design leads, and product teams. They led research projects and investigated opportunities on various products across platforms, managing local and international research projects and raising awareness on the benefits of User Centered Design.
Dominique also has experience as a User Researcher and UX Designer at AKTAN from October 2014 to January 2017. Prior to that, they worked at Alcatel-Lucent Bell Labs as a research engineer in cognitive psychology, usability, and User Experience Design from July 2010 to July 2013. They also had a role as a Usability specialist intern and User experience design intern at Alcatel-Lucent Bell Labs from April 2009 to July 2010.
Furthermore, Dominique gained experience as a Human factors intern at MDI in January 2009 and as a Usability specialist intern at Pyramid BPO in July 2008. They have a strong background in analyzing data with qualitative and quantitative methods and have been involved in the implementation and launch of user labs and creative labs.
Dominique Decotter has an extensive education history in the field of psychology. They obtained their Phd in Psychology from the Faculté de Sciences Humaines et Sociales - Sorbonne (Université Paris Descartes) from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed a Masters degree in Cognitive psychology, Usability and Human Factors from Aix-Marseille University between 2007 and 2009. In their earlier education, they obtained a Deug degree in Psychology from Aix-Marseille University from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, Dominique attended Saint Joseph's college from 1993 to 2002, where they acquired a Higher school certificate. The specific field of study for this certificate is not provided.
