Customer Experience Application Engineer

About this position:
In this role you will provide expertise to support the customer acquisition and sale of Context Labs’ Immutably™, Context Labs’ Decarbonization as a Service™, and CLEAR Path™ Platform Products. You will provide technical expertise supporting and conducting product demonstrations. This individual will provide oil & gas industry facility knowledge as a critical nexus to bridge the gap between our sales team, our customers, and our software engineering team. You will work directly with the engineering team, sales team and our customers (customer facing) to understand the customer needs, formulate solutions, and help them achieve their goals.
In a rapidly growing software company, this is a crucial position with significant leadership exposure requiring multi-talented individuals. This person will work closely with sales executives, product management teams, and executive leadership to provide technical expertise, live platform demonstrations, and any other engineering-related support required during the pre and post sales process. This position will report directly to the VP of Technical Sales/AI/Data Integration.

Outstanding organizational skills. Effectively able to manage multiple, complex projects at once in a fast-paced environment, and maintain positive, collaborative relationships to interface effectively with multiple internal and external parties.
The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of oil & gas industry operations experience and is interested in deploying this experience in a new way to meaningfully contribute to a rapidly growing start-up focused on climate change mitigation.
Significant experience in oil & gas operating facilities (upstream, midstream, or downstream) with the ability to thoroughly understand process flow and fluid property fundamentals.
Solid understanding of Piping & Instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), Cause & Effects Charts (C&E), Electrical One-Lines, Facility Layout Drawings, and similar engineered facility drawings
Outstanding organizational skills. Able to effectively manage multiple, complex projects at once in a fast-paced environment, and maintain positive, collaborative relationships to interface effectively with multiple internal and external parties
Proven ability to take initiative and produce results and a strong ability to collaborate with a diverse team of technical and business staff
Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite and Project Scheduling Tools (Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, SmartSheet, or similar
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with the Atlassian suite of management tools preferred
