Ruud Tevreden

Ruud Tevreden has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2018 as a Senior Data Scientist at the Ministerie van Defensie. In 2019, they took on several roles, including National Board Member (Campagne and Elections) at BIJ1, Lead Political Data Analyst at BIJ1, National Campagne Manager (Municipal Elections) at BIJ1, Board Member of BIJ1 Amsterdam, and Senior Full Stack Data Scientist at Upstack.co. Ruud also began teaching Data Analytics at Hogeschool NOVI in 2018. In 2020, they worked as a Senior Data Scientist at G-Star RAW and Lead Data Science Consultant at Cegeka, and also began teaching Data Analytics at Eduvision Opleiding & Training. In 2021, they became a Senior Data Scientist at xentral ERP Software, and in 2022 they became a Senior Data Specialist at Save the Children International. Finally, in 2023, they became a Senior Data Scientist at Context Labs BV.

Ruud Tevreden has a diverse educational background, beginning in 1989 when they attended Miami Christian school in Miami, FL USA. Ruud then attended The Codrington School in St. John Barbados from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained an International Baccalaureate Program. From 2000 to 2003, they attended Frowein School in Paramaribo Suriname. From 2003 to 2006, they attended Rijswijks Lyceum in Rijswijk The Netherlands as a Beta-student. From 2006 to 2010, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science/International Relations/International (Public) Law from the International Honors College Roosevelt Academy/Liberal Arts and Science, University of Utrecht. From 2010 to 2012, they obtained a Post-initial Master of Arts (M.A.) in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from the Centre for Latin American Research and Documentation (CEDLA)/ University of Amsterdam. Finally, from 2012 to 2014, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Environment and Resource Management, Environmental Track from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam). In addition, they obtained an AI & Data Science Expert 3-star program from Global AI network (GAIn®) in November 2015.
