Joshua Jones

Joshua Jones has extensive experience in information security, web development, project management, and system administration. Joshua began their career as a System Administrator at Claris Networks in 2010, where they took on various responsibilities such as managing Active Directory accounts, implementing security measures, and optimizing network and server assets for customers.

In 2013, Joshua transitioned to Peak Hosting, where they served as a Linux/Windows System Administrator and later as a Customer Service Assistant Manager. During this time, they excelled in information security, leading the documentation efforts and ensuring a secure infrastructure. Joshua also played a key role in building the Operations Support Department and Training platform, demonstrating their ability to drive teams and deliver successful projects.

In 2016, Joshua joined Radio Systems Corporation as a Contracting Technical Project Manager and later as the Web Development Manager. In these roles, they demonstrated strong leadership skills, managing projects and delivering secure web customer experiences. Joshua also contributed to the company-wide EBS platform upgrade and built a culture of on-site and remote employees.

Since 2018, Joshua has been working as an Information Security Consultant at Contextual Security, LLC. Joshua'sresponsibilities include conducting compliance audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to enhance clients' security posture. With their expertise, they advise clients on policies and standards to ensure proper adherence.

Joshua Jones has a history of education in Japanese Language and Literature. Joshua obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in the field from both Toyo University, where they studied from 2007 to 2008, and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where they studied from 2002 to 2008. In addition to their education, Joshua has obtained multiple certifications including QSA from the PCI Security Standards Council in December 2018, Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA) from ISACA in October 2018, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in June 2018, CSM from Scrum Alliance in April 2017, CompTIA A+ Certification and CompTIA Network+ Certification from CompTIA in November 2010 and June 2010 respectively, and CCNA from Cisco in October 2012.
