Tricia Patel

Tricia oversees all legal, compliance, and risk management activities for the company. She handles all aspects of contract management, from drafting through execution, and also works with outside counsel as needed. Tricia has spent her legal career in the financial services industry, as a Managing Bankruptcy Attorney handling creditor’s rights bankruptcies for five states, as well as general default services for financial institutions. Most recently, Tricia was General Counsel with a small start-up real estate investment company handling distressed asset acquisition, title curative matters, and ensuring company compliance with CFPB, FCRA, and RESPA.

Tricia graduated from Florida State University College of Law, where she earned a Juris Doctorate and an International Law Certificate. While at law school, she was in the Journal of Land Use and Environmental Law, the Journal of Transnational Law & Policy, and the Business Review-Journal. She also presented a paper at Oxford University, and Emerson College and is a member of the Dallas Bar Association. She graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations, a minor in English, and an outside concentration in Hindi and Urdu.
