Auke Thijssen

Auke Thijssen has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries and roles. Auke started their career as an Intern at The Jefferson Hotel in Washington DC in 1989. Auke then worked as a Sales Manager at Unilever/Bestfoods from 1995 to 2000. From 2000 to 2004, they served as a Sales & Marketing Manager at Vika Food Ingredients. Following that, they were the Director of Perfecta Frying Solutions Ltd. from 2004 to 2007. Since 2008, Auke has held various positions at Continental Disc Corporation, including Director EMEA and currently holds the position of Managing Director, Europe.

Auke Thijssen has a diverse education history. In 1987, they attended the Hotel Management School, where they studied catering and completed their degree in 1990. In 2011, they pursued further education at the Instituut voor Sales en Account Management (ISAM) - Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam. Here, they obtained a Postacademisch degree in Sales en Account Leadership. Additionally, in the same year, they completed courses at Miller Heiman in Strategical & Conceptual Selling and Funnel Management.
