Markus Irth has extensive work experience in the automotive industry. From 2000 to 2004, they worked as a Research and Development Engineer at Daimler AG, where they conducted research in various chassis systems. Markus was involved in projects in Frankfurt, Stuttgart-Untertürkheim, Stuttgart-Sindelfingen, and Jeep in Detroit, USA. Their research focused on air suspensions, electronically limited slip differentials, switchable stabilizers, and vehicle dynamics simulations.
In 2004, Markus joined Continental Engineering Services as a Software Developer for Indirect Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems. Markus held this role until 2009 when they transitioned to become a Technical Project Leader for Electric Power Steering. In this position, they successfully led projects until 2016. Currently, they are the Head of the Business Centre Chassis Controls, a role they have held since 2017.
Markus Irth completed their education in the field of engineering. Markus studied Elektromechanik at Technische Universität Darmstadt from 1993 to 2000 and obtained a Diplom-Ingenieur degree. Additionally, they pursued further education in Mechatronics by completing a Postgraduate Certificate at City, University of London from 1997 to 1998.
