David Ramsey, FSA, MAAA has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. David has held various executive roles in several companies, including President & CEO at Continental General since 2019. Prior to that, they served as the SVP & Chief Actuary at National Western Life from 2016 to 2019. David also held the positions of SVP, Chief Actuary & Chief Risk Officer at Continental LTC, Inc. from 2015 to 2016, and Divisional VP & Chief Actuary at Great American Insurance Group from 2014 to 2015. In addition, they worked as a Senior Consulting Actuary at Actuarial Resources Corporation from 2012 to 2014 and as President at Bailey, Ramsey & Associates from 2011 to 2012. David'searlier experiences include being a Consulting Actuary at Allen Bailey & Associates, Inc. from 2006 to 2011 and an Assistant Vice President at OneAmerica from 1994 to 2006.

David Ramsey, FSA, MAAA pursued their education at two reputable institutions. From 1990 to 1994, they attended Ball State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Actuarial Science. To further enhance their knowledge and skills, they enrolled at Harvard Business School for an OPM degree, which they are expected to complete between 2022 and 2024.
