Carlos Felipe Montoya Gonzalez

Carlos Felipe Montoya Gonzalez has extensive work experience in the mining industry. Carlos Felipe currently holds the position of Processing Plant Manager and Maintenance Director at Zijin-Continental Gold, a role they have been in since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Zijin-Continental Gold as a Processing Plant Manager from March 2020. Before that, they were the Maintenance Chief at the same company from April 2019 to March 2020.

Before their time at Zijin-Continental Gold, Carlos worked at Antioquia Gold LTD as a Maintenance Coordinator from October 2018 to April 2019. Carlos Felipe also gained experience working at Red Eagle Mining Corporation as a Supervisor Planner and Mechanical Maintenance Plant from July 2016 to October 2018.

Carlos began their career at Gran Colombia Gold Corp., where they served as the Maintenance Chief from July 2011 to March 2016. Prior to this, they worked as an Engineer Project at Universidad Nacional de Colombia from January 2009 to July 2011.

Carlos Felipe Montoya Gonzalez studied at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia from 2002 to 2009, where they obtained a degree in Ingeniería mecánica.
