Riaz Akula began their work experience as a Data Analyst at Thomson Reuters in 2010, where they focused on digital marketing for westlawindia.com. Riaz then joined Infosys in 2013 as a Process Specialist, working as a Campaign Manager until 2015. In 2015, Akula became a Digital Marketing Manager at Ozonegroup, where they planned and executed various digital marketing campaigns and managed social media presence. Riaz then moved to Apollo Hospitals in 2016, working as a Digital Marketing Manager, responsible for website, SEO, and performance marketing until 2022. After that, Akula joined Paradise Food Court Pvt. Ltd as a Deputy General Manager of Digital Marketing until 2023. Currently, Akula is the Head of Marketing - Brand & Digital at Continental Hospitals.
Riaz Akula earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science from Anna University in the years 2003 to 2007. Later, from 2009 to 2011, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Marketing and HR from Osmania University. In terms of additional certifications, Riaz obtained various credentials from Google and Microsoft in 2019, including Mobile App Analytics Certified, Google Tag Manager Fundamentals, Advanced Power Searching With Google, Bing Ads Certified, Google Adwords Certified Individual, and Power Searching With Google.
