Chris Abbott

Chris Abbott, PE, MBA, MS, is a seasoned reservoir engineer with extensive experience in well performance and reservoir studies at Continental Resources since May 2013. Responsibilities include advising on well performance, completions design, and enhancing wells with a focus on modeling in the Williston Basin. Previous roles at Continental Resources involved reservoir simulation in the SCOOP and STACK areas, as well as field development and technical analysis for the Springer and Woodford formations. Education includes a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma, complemented by early roles as an intern in production engineering, directional drilling, and pressure pumping engineering.
