Eddie Newman

Eddie Newman, SPHR, has over 25 years of diverse work experience in human resources and operations. Eddie most recently served as the Director of HR Operations at Continental Resources, where they played a key role in managing and optimizing HR processes. Prior to that, Eddie held the position of Manager of HR Operations at the same company.

Before joining Continental Resources, Eddie worked at Devon Energy as a Senior Manager/HRBP in Human Resources, where they provided strategic HR support and guidance. Eddie also served as the Manager of Human Resources, Field Operations at SandRidge Energy, overseeing HR functions for the entire field operations division.

Eddie's experience also includes serving as the Regional Manager of Human Resources at Patterson-UTI Drilling Company LLC, where they managed HR operations for a specific region. Eddie previously held the position of Director of Human Resources at Martin Marietta Materials, responsible for HR functions in the Southwest Division.

Earlier in their career, Eddie worked at APAC-Arkansas, Inc (Arkhola Division) as a Safety Manager and HR/Safety Generalist. Eddie started their professional journey at Spang and Company (Magnetics Division) as a Process Engineer.

Eddie Newman, SPHR, holds an MBA in Business Administration from The University of Texas at San Antonio, which they obtained between 2003 and 2005. Eddie also possesses a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Arkansas State University, Westark, earned from 1994 to 1998. Furthermore, they have obtained an Associates degree in Applied Science with a specialization in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology from Oklahoma State University, Okmulgee, completed from 1989 to 1992. Additionally, Eddie Newman has obtained the certification of Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Human Resource Certification Institute in 2005.
