Nick Savage

Nick Savage is an Associate Field Engineer at Continental Resources since June 2023, having previously served as a Resource Development Engineering Intern with the company from May to August 2022. During the internship, Nick analyzed the Williston Basin's 5-year drill schedule, identifying opportunities to accelerate over 30 wells, resulting in an additional $22.3 million in net present value. Collaboration with various departments enabled the identification of key factors influencing the drill schedule, and Nick developed a Spotfire tool to highlight operational constraints and potential conflicts. Prior experience includes a Maintenance Engineering Intern role at CF Industries in the summer of 2021, where Nick authored engineering reviews, compiled a database using VBA, and worked closely with various disciplines. Additionally, Nick operated heavy equipment at DALE MARTIN DOZERS LLC from May 2018 to January 2021 and worked as a team member and leader to meet project deadlines. Nick holds a Mechanical Engineering degree in Petroleum from Oklahoma State University, earned between 2019 and 2023.
