Zach Mangum

Zach Mangum has a diverse work experience in the field of health and safety. Zach started their career at Basic Energy Services as a Regional Safety & Asset Manager from 2005 to 2007. Zach then worked at Rwdy Inc as a Contract Consultant from 2007 to 2008, where they coached and mentored drilling rig employees on safety practices. Zach later joined ConocoPhillips, where they held various roles such as 24/7 Well Site Safety & Environmental Representative, Drilling Well Site Safety & Environmental Representative, and Completion and Rigless Well Site Safety & Environmental Representative. In these positions, they coordinated safety programs, conducted incident investigations, provided training, and implemented safe operating practices. Zach also supervised employees and contractors, contributed to audit preparation, and initiated safety programs and initiatives. Finally, Zach served as a Health and Safety Director at Continental Resources, overseeing health and safety functions within the company.

Zach Mangum holds a Certified Safety and Health Official (CSHO) degree from the College of Business, Engineering, and Technology at Texas A&M University-Texarkana, which they obtained from 2012 to 2013. Zach also attended San Juan College in 2001, where they received a Commissioned Law Enforcement degree in the field of Law Enforcement (Policing).
